Crystal Spectrum Monitoring and Recording (SMR) allows hundreds of transmission spectral segments to be periodically sampled and examined for any of several user defined error conditions.

Carriers can be continuously recorded, or selectively recorded based on triggering error events. Operators are notified of problems through a variety of methods.
